The Skim Pendaftaran Perniagaan Prihatin (SPPP) under the Malaysia PENJANA Initiative, launched on 23 December 2020 was only limited to youth, students (from any recognized Colleges, Universities and Professional Schools) and single mothers.
With effect from 15 February 2021, Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) widens the Skim Pendaftaran Perniagaan Prihatin (SPPP) to also benefit the entire B40 category.
Eligible applicants will enjoy the following:

1 | Use of the applicant’s name as per name stated on NRIC to register Sole Proprietor business. | RM 30 |
2 | Use of trade name (aka business name) to register Sole Proprietor or Partnership business. | RM 60 |
3 | Printing of business profile information | RM 10 |
The categories to apply for SPPP (Penjana) are as follows:
B40 Youth
- MyKad or MyPR holder
- Age 18-30 years old
- You must be registered under Bantuan Prihatin Nasional (BPN 2.0) for B40 category. (Check your status here)
- You do not not own any active business entity registered with SSM.
B40 Single Mother
- Must be Malaysian citizen
- Age 30 years and above (If you’re below 30 years old, apply under B40 Youth)
- Must fulfill the definitions of a single mother by Kementerian Pembangunan Wanita, Keluarga & Masyarakat (KPWKM).
- You’re the head of the family and is a divorcee or separated permanently from your husband and has unmarried children staying with you.
- You’re the head of the family and is married but your husband is not able to work because of his poor health condition and has unmarried children staying with you.
- You’re the head of the family and has never been married. You have adopted children or children of unconfirmed status.
- You must be registered under Bantuan Prihatin Nasional (BPN 2.0) for B40 category. (Check your status here)
- You do not not own any active business entity registered with SSM.
Student
- MyKad or MyPR holder
- Age 18 years and above
- Full-time student registered with any IPTA / IPTS / Polytechnic / College / Academic Institute / Skill Centre in Malaysia
- You do not not own any active business entity registered with SSM.
*If you have registered a business in the past but is no longer active within the SSM system, you’re still eligible
